Freejump CO2 Cartridge for Airbag Vest

The Freejump CO2 Cartridge is specifically designed to rearm a Freejump airbag vest after activation. Made from cast steel with a welded seal, the cartridge is designed to release the correct amount of CO2 at the required speed for fast and reliable activation of the airbag system.

Important when choosing the size: always select the correct cartridge for both the model and size of your Freejump airbag vest. The required capacity varies depending on the airbag model and size. Therefore, always check our size chart before ordering a cartridge.

The cartridges are available in 45 cc, 50 cc, 60 cc and 85 cc. Selecting the correct capacity is essential for proper operation and optimal inflation of the airbag vest.

Only use original Freejump cartridges

Freejump airbag vests – as well as the airbag vests manufactured by Freejump for Pénélope and Equithème – are certified according to the NF S72-800-2022 standard. Only the designated Freejump cartridges are approved for these airbags. Freejump requires the use of original cartridges to ensure the correct operation of the airbag system.

Not all CO2 cartridges have the same characteristics. The quality and thickness of the seal, among other factors, influence how quickly the cartridge can be pierced and the CO2 released. A seal that does not meet the required specifications may restrict the gas flow and consequently slow down the inflation of the airbag vest.

Depending on the size, Freejump airbag vests have an inflation time of approximately 80 to 130 milliseconds. The specifications of the original cartridge therefore form an important part of the complete safety system.

Freejump cartridges are manufactured in Austria or Japan and are produced and tested according to Freejump specifications.
