Equilook full cheek jointed rubber. Stainless steel bits can have quite a bitter taste to them which some horses dont particularly like. Rubber Mouthpieces are a warmer feel to the horses mouth, those horses that do not accept stainless steel very well sometime accept rubber very well. The rubber mouthpiece is particularly useful for horses with sensitive bars and/or tongues but less suited for horses that do not product enough salivation because the rubber can 'burn'.

The rubber mouthpiece is a milder alternative that stainless steel as the mouthpiece is normally thicker; therefore the pressure is distributed over a larger area. The rubber bits may be unsuitable if your horse has thicker fleshy lips and/or a large tongue.

Equilook loose ring double jointed mouthpiece. The loose rings snaffles make a more mobile bit than an eggbutt or fixed cheek bit, which should encourage your horse to keep a relaxed jaw and mouth the bit. The loose ring may be useful if your horse leans on the bit, or takes hold, as the bit is always movable so the horse cannot take hold as easily as they could with a fixed cheek.

Trust baby pelham brass rings. The Trust Blue Sweet Iron mouthpiece from the Trust brand has a centre piece with brass rings. The blue sweet iron mouthpiece encourages salivation, softening and acceptance of the bit because it oxidises easily, creating a warm, sweet taste in the horse's mouth. The double joint means the mouthpiece follows the contours of the horse's mouth, which reduces the 'nutcracker' action associated with single jointed bits, and resultant bar and palate pressure.
