Trust leather hackamore combi long shanks

€199.09

Trust leather hackamore combi long shanks, also known as a tandem bit. The shanks can be adjusted to the horse and riders need. A leather bit is ideal for horses that do not accept the feel of metal in their mouths. It is soft and helps the horse to relax. Ideal for sensitive mouthed or young horses.

The core of the Trust leather bit is made of reinforced nylon. The leather that is stitched around this core, is naturally tanned without chemicals. The saliva production softens the leather bit and makes it more pleasant for the horse. The flexible mechanism in combination with the taste of the leather, makes the bit particularly suitable for horses with a sensitive mouth.

You can choose between short and long shanks.

How to measure your bit

The current bit size is often used to order a new bit. We will explain how to measure this below.

  • Measure the bit between the rings.
  • Bits from the brands that we sell have exactly the size that you measure between the bit rings. Do you have a bit from another brand? Measure this between the rings and if this is for example 12.5, you also order the new bit in that size.

Note that bits with longer shanks such as hackamore combi bits need more space so that they do not damage your horse.
