Trust Dee bit medium port

€81.82

Trust Dee bit medium port. The Dee bit cheekpiece prevents pinching of the lips and give a slightly more solid feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower and also introduces some poll pressure.

The medium port is a solid mouth piece. It is curved and ported to give tongue relief. The Happy Tongue would be a good place to start if your horse is: Shaking its head Sticking its tongue out Sucking its tongue back and as a result making an intermittent coughing noise Trying to put its tongue over the bit Going behind the bit to avoid the contact Snatching the reins forward and down The rider will know immediately if this is the correct bit, as a horse with a sensitive tongue will finally begin to work into, and accept the contact.

Sizes: 12,5 | 13,5 | 14,5 cm

How to measure your bit

The current bit size is often used to order a new bit. We will explain how to measure this below.

  • Measure the bit between the rings.
  • Bits from the brands that we sell have exactly the size that you measure between the bit rings. Do you have a bit from another brand? Measure this between the rings and if this is for example 12.5, you also order the new bit in that size.

Note that bits with longer shanks such as hackamore combi bits need more space so that they do not damage your horse.
